About Craig Strong & Whit Prouty

Through leadership in a family business to his recent election into the Greater Toluca Lake City Council, Craig Strong understands values and community. A native New yorker, Craig was a vital part of a four-generation family enterprise, Point Blank Body Armor, manufacturing and distributing bullet resistant vests. Within this rigorous, quality conscious operation, Craig implemented his outstanding people skills and business sense. He soon rose to Vice President of Manufacturing for the largest producer of specialized body armor in the world.

After the family enterprise was sold, Craig relocated to Los Angeles, becoming a property investor. his great success led him to acquire his own clientele as a real estate agent. Soon after signing on with Prudential CA Realty, he was awarded "Rookie of the Year" and continues as a top producer enjoying repeat business and an outstanding referral network. Craig regularly receives top sales awards and other prestigious realty honors.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Craig's participation in the neighborhood council of Toluca Lake demonstrates his desire to give something back to a thriving community. He understands the issues that impact its citizens and is helping to address and solve them.

Craig lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife Tara, an in-demand voiceover actor, heard on numerous children's animated series such as Rugrats, Powerpuff Girls and Fairly Odd Parents, just to name a few. Together, Craig and Tara are raising two sons, their "pride and joy!"

Whit made Los Angeles home for his family in 1996, though his in-laws have been here for more than 40 years. A well known realtor suggested that he begin a career in real estate because of his excellent people skills and head for business. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Finance from Boston University, Whit understands the financial impacts of purchasing a home or investment property.

He has been recognized with the prestigious Chairman's Circle award from Prudential CA Realty. Whit believes that success in business must be paid back with charity and community service. His commitment to this ideal can be seen in his appointment to the Burbank Parks, Recreation and Community Services Board by the Burbank City Council; his election to the Roosevelt Elementary School Site Council and Burbank Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; along with his service for the Burbank YMCA Finance Committee, PTA membership and as a graduate of Leadership Burbank.
